"Felt good about the delivery"
I ordered from thetrendy.co.nz the shipping was solid. The parcel showed up around when they said it would, and the tracking did what it was meant to do. It was one day later than I was kind of hoping for, which was a little annoying, but not enough to make me really complain. Overall, I had a good feeling about it. 4 stars from me.

"Checkout was smooth, smooth overall"
Checkout was easy and really didn’t take long at all. One page did load a little slow after I paid, so I was kind of unsure for a second, like wait, wait, did it go through? But the order confirmation came in fine, so all good in the end.

I picked up a few things i was kind of thinking, “Okay, for this price, let’s see how good it actually is.” But the quality ended up being decent, and the prices felt really fair for what I got. No complaints from me

"Updates were kinda unclear!!"
The communication was confusing!! I had to ask about my order twice, and the replies still didn’t really answer everything I needed to know!! It did get sorted out in the end, but it was definitely a bit frustrating!!!

I returned my order and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but the process ended up being easy. My refund showed up faster than I thought it would, which was a nice surprise.

"Refund took a little longer than I’d hoped"
I ordered from thetrendy.co.nz and ended up having to return it because it just wasn’t quite what I expected. The refund did come through eventually — so that was fine — but it took a few emails and a bit more waiting than I would’ve liked. Support wasn’t rude or anything, just... slower than ideal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but yeah, the return process could definitely be smoother.

"Always feels like stuff is unavailable"
I was browsing around and found a few things I was actually interested in, but then they ended up being out of stock. It’s just kind of frustrating in that really annoying way, like you get your hopes up and then there’s nothing there. The site itself is fine, I guess, but the stock situation really needs to be better or at least updated more clearly

"Decent at first glance, but kind of disappointing"
It looked fine when I first opened it, but once I actually picked it up, the fabric felt cheap and the stitching was a little messy. It’s not the worst thing ever, but for the price I expected better. Also, having to go through verification over and over just to deal with the order made the whole experience more annoying than it needed to be.

To be fair, the site does get the job done, and I was able to place my order without any major issues. That said, it felt a bit clunky in spots. A few pages loaded slower than I expected, and it took me longer than it should have to find certain items. Once I got to checkout, everything was straightforward. Overall, it’s not bad, but the experience could be smoother and a little easier to navigate.

"I had to swap a dress for..."
I had to swap a dress for a bigger size, and the whole thing was straightforward. I emailed customer service and they got back to me the next day with what I needed to do, so it didn’t feel like a hassle.
I did have to pay the return postage myself, which I guess is fair, if that makes sense. Once they received it, the new size was sent out quickly. Overall I’m happy with how it went, though clearer updates along the way would’ve been nice.

I ordered from The Trendy and the tracking was useless. It sat on the same update for days, so I had no clue if my parcel was moving or just stuck somewhere.

It did turn up eventually, but it was late and the info along the way was vague. Customer service took a while to reply too, and having to keep verifying details over and over just to get a basic update got really annoying. Not the smoothest experience.

"Decent deals, but I expected a bit more"
I found a few promo deals on thetrendy.co.nz, and they were alright, actually, maybe just okay. Some of the discounts weren’t quite as big as I thought they’d be. Checkout was straightforward, though I did have to double-check that the code actually applied. Not a bad experience overall, just not amazing either.

My order showed up late, which was frustrating on its own, but the worst part was not really knowing what was going on. The updates were vague and didn’t make it clear when it would actually arrive. It did finally get here, so that’s good, but the communication definitely could’ve been better.

"Really really good help after my order"
I had a small issue after my order showed up, so I messaged the team. They replied quick, quick enough that I wasn’t left wondering, and got it sorted without making it a whole big thing. it’s nice nice to deal with a shop that actually answers you after you’ve already paid. Really happy with the support.
